If you have come to this page I am sure you are wanting to know a little bit more about us.
I am Tanita and this is my little family, my little team. I am wife to Daniel, and mummy to Sophia 6 and Archie 3.
My blog has been a complete lifeline for me and is a hobby that has turned my world around. I couldn’t be more grateful to have this space. I have a place of my own, to pour my heart out to friends and connect with other mummies just like me. There is a great community here online and I am proud to be apart of it.
A little bit more about each of us
I had Sophia when I was just a spring chicken! I was only 21 and I think that is quite young. It was a huge learning curve for me and I faced so many emotions, good and bad. She really shaped me and everyday I am so grateful she came into my life.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language. Which I started when Sophia was 3 months old. I studied from home with the Open University. Although sometimes a challenge I stuck at it and I am so pleased I did. Because doing my degree gave me that little push and the confidence to start this blog. I graduated in June 2015. A very proud moment in my life. It was very surreal too, after working towards graduation for 4 years. I achieved a 2:2 which I was really pleased with considering at the time I was raising two children, running our house, and helping my husband with his business.
There is never a day that goes by I am not grateful for the family my husband and I have created. There is something so amazing, and powerful about creating your own family and everyday I cherish what we have… even on the hard days. I really believe its all worth it.
I mostly write about our family on the blog, our life, and our travels. I have really found a love for photography through blogging. And feel like I have found somewhere I can be really creative. I did GCSE Art and it was one of my favourite subjects. I also occasionally do sponsored posts that I think you may enjoy and reviews too. I hope that you don’t mind these posts too much because they do give me part of my income from this blog which is lovely, especially because I am doing what I love.
I am a breastfeeding and baby wearing advocate, and will always strongly believe in nurturing and loving children as much as humanly possible (I do shout sometimes I promise I am not perfect) I am just kind.
Daniel (The love of my life)
He doesn’t have much choice when it comes to my blog. But he is such a good sport and gets involved when he can. I am so lucky to have him, he supports me in everything I do.
He works so hard for our family and everyday I feel so grateful to have him, he is a great father and an even greater husband. I often text my mum and tell her how did I ever deserve him. I am a hopeless romantic, my head is always in the clouds.
Sophia and Archie (They are 6&3 our little blessings)
Sophia and Archie are both Rainbow babies. They are both our little miracles. So in every way I think it made me even more grateful when they came along. They made us parents and we both feel extremely lucky to have these two little ones in our life. I am genuinely thankful everyday.
Sophia is a cautious little girl, she is very girly, she loves playing with my make up. She enjoys choosing her own clothes and I have to say she has a much better fashion sense then me. I am so lucky to have her and I love how our relationship grows as she gets older. I am a lucky mummy. I feel like I have a friend in her for the rest of my life and I always try my hardest to nurture our relationship.
Archie is my little wild child, very confident and full of mischief. But most of all he is the most loving little soul I have ever met. He often finds me for cuddles and tells me often he loves me all up in his heart.
I hope that you enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about us.
