How can I enhance my life?

Everyday and in every moment I am forever trying to enhance my life. Not only for me but for my husband, my children, my extended family, and in some way hopefully others around me too.

There may be many reasons that you want to enhance your life, like

achieving a goal, becoming successful in a certain aspect of your life, career or family life. Having more time for a certain activity or person. Whatever it may be if it is important to you and something you feel strongly about, in most cases, achieving it, will enhance your life.

I have had to do some major thinking, attitude changes, thought shifts and even more, to enhance my own life. What i mean by enhance is;  creating meaningfulness, happiness, acceptance and trust in yourself and your life. If you achieve some of this while living the life you already have you are halfway there.

This lead me to come up with some goals to achieve this:

The first one, may seem simple but its the most important one:

Be Happy

Some people struggle to achieve happiness in the every day but this isso important, to have a real appreciation for waking up in the morning and a joy to start your day is so important to enhance your life. We are so privileged to be here, lets live our own unique lives to the fullest, and in the way we want.

Have a Positive mindset

Positive mindset and being happy usually go hand in hand, if you choose to be happy usually you have already altered your mindset to be positive. When we are positive and happy we are like a magnet drawing and attracting those things we deeply desire and love to ourselves with great success.

Value and believe in yourself

I have said this in a previous blog post of mine here, (if you are thinking o doing a degree alongside having children) the first thing you need to do is believe in you: ‘when you under value what you do, the world will under value you’ – Oprah Winfrey. What Oprah says i could not have put better myself it really is important to hold a healthy self image of yourself. If you don’t who will? The sooner you realise this the better for you, because only you can make a better life for yourself, no one is going to do anything for you. You are a powerful being here to create and do great things, for yourself and for everyone else on this planet. So what are you waiting or? Start planning…

Life is Now

It really is of great importance to live in the present moment, the moment you have right here is the only moment you really have, to make conscious decisions, plans, visualizations. Once we truly accept that there is no better time then the present, do we really start enjoying life. Because if you are always searching for that next goal that next material fulfillment you don’t enjoy now, and it will be as if you have pressed the fast forward button on your life, without taking in every single beautiful moment. Don’t miss out, and use now wisely, its the most important time.

Trust your intuition

Trust yourself, your own opinion. In fact trust everything about yourself. You make the perfect decisions for yourself at the perfect time. Trust in the universe it is giving you what you want and need at the right time to set you on the right path for your individual journey in life.

Trust your feelings, good and bad. Your feelings are trying to tell you something about a certain situation or person.

It reminds me of a moment i experience often, when outside with the children, in the sun, and i am happy, and the sun gets warmer on my skin, i can feel it everywhere on me, on my hair, getting warmer and warmer, filling me up with love and light. Just to let that amazing feeling run through you.

Just like this feeling, believe that everything is on your side, the sun, the moon, and of course TIME, time is on your side too, it runs for you.

Believe that you have enough time, because you do. it goes as fast or as slow as you want it to.

That is my list, I hope you found some inspiration here.

I just want to end this post by reminding you that whatever you want you can receive if you are open, it is not only about manifesting a successful life with a big house, lots of money and endless material things. It is about serving the world and yourself, feeding your soul, being on the right path for your soul. Keep your mindset in this perspective. Allow yourself to be a vessel in moving this world this population to greater happiness and higher vibrational frequencies so that we all can benefit, not just one person.

What you do, think and act on is experienced by the whole we are all connected, and i think sometimes people don’t know this or they don’t think it is true, But it is true, truer than true.

So remember not to be filled with on my time my this and my that, but to be filled with the idea that in the time that is right for everyone, or the greater good of all.

Achieving some of what i have spoken about, you will reach more awareness of yourself and your life, and become more conscious on many different levels.

I feel like i need to and must say thank you to all the divine and beautiful spiritual energy around me for the help in writing this post. The signs along the way and the pushes to write this post were not subtle.

Thank you for reading and I wish you the most amazing happiness and love on your own journey that is life.

I think I have a tendency to look too much to the future rather than embracing the “now” which is probably not the best way to live. I suppose it’s because I want the future to be better and for us to give Gwenn a life she deserves and that will take time to achieve.

    Great post.

I think we all have this tendency. It’s great to realise it and try and make the change to enjoying the now. Thank you for your lovely comment x

What a lovely post and thank you for linking it up to #TheList.

I spend a lot of time thinking about this kind of thing too! I love reading about how I can improve myself…but actually it wasn’t until recently that I realised I wasn’t actually happy – putting too much pressure on yourself to achieve is detrimental. So actually taking a step back to, as you say, think of things that I’m grateful for and making sure I spend time every day doing the things I love, has had a huge impact on my well-being NOW!

That’s amazing to hear. I am the same though, it is all a learning curve, everyday I learn and everyday I try and be a better me, by living in the now x

Beautiful post. I’m trying to focus on ‘finding my happy’ this year. Appreciating the small things and being happy with my life. So far it’s working. As you said, your mindset makes a big difference.

Yep, all these things are important – I especially try to have a positive mindset and live in the present, with mindfulness, as that really helps in making the most of your days. Great post! #thelist

Lovely words #thelist. I think I need to go back and read it again slowly! I really need to try and live in the ‘now’ a bit more that is for sure. I keep waiting for the weather to improve to go out walking!
