Just the other day I took my lovely little children to a county park that I used to visit when I was a child. I wrote a post previously about our life lately and what we had been getting up to. I also mentioned I wanted to take the kids on a little adventure. This was it. Our little adventure. We had so much fun. In fact my mum used to take us there a lot especially to see the bluebells. I have fond memories of our visits. I am so excited to make similar memories with my children.
I took Sophia and my husband here a few years ago and we played in the botanical gardens and ran around in all the greenery. It is so huge here and there is so much to offer. family foot trails, long two hour ones as well. You can even have picnics or go to the cafe. A really perfect place for a day or morning out. It is even dog friendly and so is the cafe which I think is lovely.
Archie was the only little one who had never been here before. So I was excited to take them for the first time together.
There is something I love so much about being outdoors with the children and in the fresh air. It is so lovely be around trees and bright vivid colours of the summer especially after the long winters here in England. It’s even more special when you get to capture the outdoor adventures on camera.
I am really starting to enjoy taking photos and actually taking a little care to make sure they are of high quality. I am starting to notice my very grainy Instagram pictures and I don’t like it! Hence lately I haven’t been posing as often because the photos on my phone are of a much less quality. I don’t mind but now that I am enjoying higher resolution pictures I can really tell the difference and I am enjoying taking and looking at better quality images. The clearer and brighter the better.
It’s all good fun though and I am in love with it all. At the moment me and my mum share the DSLR. So I find myself really really missing it when she has it for her trips away or on weekends. I might need to invest in my own one.
Although I have just purchased a point and shoot and I have started vlogging again which I am so excited about.
I love Phia’s little face in the photo above. She is not always too sure about having her photo taken so sometimes you will find me begging her. But I just know that in years to come when so much time has passed by I have forgotten the very everyday moments we share together, like this adventure I will be filled with happiness to see her four and a half year old little face starring back at me from the computer screen. The feelings and familiarity of it all will strike me and like before I will remember it all, the little details that I could have so easily forgotten. Not because I wanted to forget but because life does that, its quick, its fast paced and it takes no prisoners. I was given great advice as a young girl to follow the current and thats what I intend to do in the simplest form.
