Its 8pm and all the kids are in bed, fast asleep. I don’t think I have sat down all day today and we are in full swing of half term here.
Arthur went to bed at 7pm tonight, he is such a good boy and sleeps so well during the night. He really loves his food and I think that having a nice full belly really helps him sleep so well. He eats a lot, so did Archie, I have very hungry boys. I have been making Arthur homemade puree’s and he has really been enjoying everything I’ve made he is so cute bless him. He first had a mix of parsnip, sweet potato and a little cinnamon. Then I did carrot and sweet potato which he has finished and I have just made a new batch of broccoli, cauliflower, potato and one pear. He had that for dinner with a few cut up blueberries and some carrot puffs. How yummy are those baby carrot puffs? Tell me I am not the only one who loves them.
Arthur is growing up so quickly and it makes me so happy but so emotional too. He can sit up now, and he has been waving all day today for the first time it is the sweetest thing to see, he is so oblivious to how clever he is and how much he has grown in the last few months. He also has two of his front teeth which are almost completely out now. He is such a sweet boy and just the little things bring me so much happiness. Picking him up while I am making dinner his little head glancing around the room and his arms wide open feeling the space around him. I love nuzzling into his head and breathing him in. Such a sweet and gentle boy.
He adores his big brother and big sister so much and I can tell by the way they make him laugh and how he watches them. Archie just adores him and can smother him sometimes, but Archie smothers most people. He loves his big cuddles. Sophia has always been an amazing big sister and it is lovely to see how Archie has adapted to being a big brother it is so lovely to see. He is a fantastic big brother and brings Arthur a blanket or a toy telling me Arthur wants it. He loves to kiss him and rub his face on his its very sweet. Arthur is so loved he is so so lucky.
These little photos were taken in Archie and sophias bedroom this morning before we went out for the day to meet our friends for bowling. We have had such a lovely day together and Im looking forward to the rest of the half term with them, they had a lovely start and went to stay with their granny, cousin and aunty in Wales their little happy place. Glad to have them home now I missed them so much.
They were really pleased to wear their new bits from Lamb and Bear Wear. I purchased them from their shop and I am friends with the owner, the lovely Alex. I adore her designs she is so creative and we love her clothes so much. I just love this unicorn print and that it is unisex, Archie adores his leggings.
Just looking at these photos I took today makes me so emotional I absolutely love my three so much they make me the happiest mummy and I hope they will always know that.
I genuinely adore having three, its not always easy and some days and nights can be tough work more so when I am on my own. But most days are just lovely and I love the dynamic of having three, its lovely. My house feels full, my heart and arms feel full and I love the way it feels waking up to the three of them every single day. I am so grateful for each of them and my life is that much richer because of them being here with me and Dan. We are so lucky and so grateful.
