Living Arrows {4/52} 2019 A Family Walk

Just a few weekends ago we went for a lovely family walk. My dad came with us and it was lovely to have him along.

The children enjoyed walking with their grandad and we visited a lovely tea room for a cuppa and some cake.

I have absolutely loved this winter so much, I have got outdoors mostly everyday. I have walked so much with Arthur these last few months, and my family over the weekends. I feel like I have really taken advantage of all the lovely weather we have been having. I have even walked in the rain. Nothing stops me getting out no matter the weather. Which was never the case years ago.

Ive really worked on changing my perspective towards the winter months and done everything I would normally do and not let the weather rule my decisions on how to spend my day. Which about 6 years ago was not the case and I would get down because I couldn’t possibly face going out in the cold.

Now I will even attend bootcamp in the freezing cold and it feels so good. Cold weather is good especially for working out in.

The views were pretty incredible too. I love this time of year, the air is so crisp and fresh and everything looks so bright and ready to start growing beautifully in the spring months.

The colours are so beautiful too, and the way the sun shines in contrast to the cold air is my favourite.

So here was our lovely family walk. A day well spent together. Lovely memories made as always.

Ah the winter certainly has us desiring hibernation doesn’t it? It’s great to read you’ve been feeling the benefits of getting outdoors and ridding yourself of the winter blues #LivingArrows

I have loved this winter too. It’s been so much nicer than other winters and I think that’s a lot to do with mindset and just embracing it. Your photos are beautiful x
