“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”-Kahlil Gibran
I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of half term already. It’s gone so quickly.
We have been very lucky with the weather so have spent everyday outdoors, and had some lovely picnic lunches too. I love nothing more then being outdoors with my kids it’s our favourite place and they love playing and exploring so much.
I’m sharing a bunch of photos from our week. I haven’t taken photos everyday but I have taken a lot of photos on the days that I did get my camera out!
We also went to the circus one evening and I think the kids loved it. Arthur being too small to really understand but he had a boogie and ate lots of snacks to keep him quiet and entertained through the show. It amazes me every time what amazing tricks and skills these people have. I mean … amazing.
Tomorrow is our first day that we have no set plans really. But we love getting out so knowing us we will probably head out somewhere after a lazy morning. Even though I say lazy morning I will be up at 5am for bootcamp!
So here is our week in pictures so far, the things that stick out to me are how big my children are now just this time last year I still had a newborn. Sophia and Archie both so tall now and seem so grown up.
I also feel so grateful for all the beautiful places here around us that we get to visit and explore. I say it often but I hope my kids will always remember our times outdoors because they really are my favourite.
I love half term and having them all home, yes it can be full on sometimes and I can get stressed sometimes too. But I love them all so much and making memories together means so much to me. I am so glad I get to do it.
Here is to having an amazing weekend and having Daniel with us too. Looking so forward to it. We are also off to Diggerland UK and I will be writing a full review of our day!
