We have been home for a while now from the most loveliest week away at Bluestone. I have been meaning to publish this post and share some of our pictures here on my blog for a while now.
It’s our second visit here and each time it seems to get better. We were gifted this lovely stay and I feel so lucky we get to have experiences like this as a family. We’d never been to Kingdom of the Elves at Bluestone before and it was the most magical christmassy experience. One we all will never forget.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
It was so nice to relax and enjoy some family time. Uninterrupted by work or life admin. Daniel and I decided to completely switch off from it. I still showed my face online because I was just so excited to share our arrival with you all but after that I kept a little quiet.
We were so busy doing lots of fun activities, going swimming, and visiting the adventure centre that there wasn’t much time for anything else. The kids had the loveliest time it was nice to all be together and as they get older it all gets a lot more relaxed and we can enjoy quieter evenings once little Arthur is asleep.
Dan and I went to bed shortly after the kids every night and got lots of sleep in, something that we don’t get too much off when at home.
We also visited Kingdom of the Elves at Bluestone and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve never been to anything like that before. It was just done so beautifully, from the characters and the props, the activities and the story behind it all. It was perfect from start to finish.
I really don’t think they missed anything and it was the perfect time 1 hour and 30 minutes it went so quickly didn’t feel like we were even in there for ten minutes. It was such great fun and we all laughed lots. I’d so recommend booking Bluestone for the experience of Kingdom of the Elves. It was fab!
Arthur had a lovely time all dressed up in his elf outfit, even though slightly big I think it added to his cuteness.
Sophia and Archie were absolutely mesmerised by the elf characters and all the different rooms and activities we were taken on at the Kingdom of the Elves. They especially loved carrying their ticket booklets around and getting them clipped once completing each activity.
Bluestone also have so much more Christmas activities and workshops on at this time of year, the fun is truly endless. Everything is catered for ‘little people’ and I just loved that because it makes the experience so special for the children, its all about them just as it should be at this time of year. Me and Dan had the most wonderful time too watching them enjoy every moment and smiling ear to ear.
Sophia and Archie both at such a lovely age to experience it all. I hope the Christmas magic is kept alive for them for as long as possible.
I really won’t forget our stay this year, it was a really special one and my three had the most fantastic time as did me and Dan. We love Bluestone so much for the memories we get to make as a family, and for the whole package it provides from the lodge to the activities.
We had some really lovely moments in our lodge, kids dressed up in their pj’s all cosy and lights dim, lodge warm, yummy dinner, and a bit of telly. A perfect place to relax with them and enjoy our time together. We always looked forward to coming back to our lodge and settling down for the evening.
Thank you for the treasured memories with my little family Bluestone.
I also made a few videos our our time away. All for the memory box.
