I absolutely love attending a baby shower, I always thoroughly enjoy preparing gifts for the mum to be, but I have never made a hamper as such. I recently had a baby shower for a friend of mine who is going to be a first time mum. I wanted to give her something special but also practical. I got some ideas from Pinterest.
But when I came across this post on a DIY mum & baby hamper it gave me the inspiration I needed to put together something great for my friend. Thank you so much Kerry for sharing this thoughtful idea.
I really had so much fun putting the hamper together and being creative. Another bonus is that it is surprisingly easy to put together, it doesn’t take long once you have all the bits for the hamper. As well as this is can be as cost effective as you want.
In the process of making this hamper, I went to some of my favourite shops. I purchased the Bashful Bunny Soft Toy from Jojo Maman Bebe. Both Sophia and Archie have their own soft toy from JoJo’s jellycat collection which they sleep with.
Another one of my favorite places to visit is Hobbeycraft! I purchased the brown shredded paper, and the ribbons from here. They have so many amazing craft items, just being in the store gives me so much inspiration. Its a great place.
