I am so excited for summer, it makes me so happy to see and feel the sun. Of course that means my children get to wear summer clothes! I don’t get any say in what Sophia is wearing anymore. So it makes it even more fun getting to dress Archie everyday. Sophia dresses herself and has done since before she was three. So it was lovely when Archie came along because I was able to choose what her wore, a privilege I don’t get with Sophia anymore!
I tend to mostly choose clothes based on comfort for him to wear. I like Archie’s clothing to be loose and not restricting. Although when for a special occasion I enjoy dressing him in something a bit more fitted that may not be the best to run around in.
I am going to start a series for the next month, where I show you an outfit or two of Archie’s once a week on my blog.I’m excited about it because I have wanted to do it for a while now and I have been letting life and it’s craziness get in the way!
I thought the best thing to do would be to commit. So, I am committing myself to one month and going to take it from there.
Here is my first post on ‘What Archie wore today’. Hope you enjoy.
We were very lucky to wake up this morning to the sun streaming through our windows. It was warm and the sun was so bright.
I wanted to put Archie is something comfy and loose so that he could catch the cool air on his skin and run around and play in the garden.
Here he is in the lovely outfit from Joules Clothing UK with the farmyard print, which was a gift from my mum. Joules is one of my favourite children’s shops and if like me you love the Farmyard print you can purchase other items from the range sold by Joules too as they have some other items available. It really is great quality, the fabric is soft and sits comfortably on Archie’s little frame, its not tight, just as I like his clothing. I think this is going to be my new favourite summer outfit for him!
Joules clothing is such great quality and Joules attempt new prints every season so there is always something different and unique to purchase. This was bought for Archie last year, although if you really love the print you can purchase a jumper in this print for winter which is actually in the sale at the moment. I went there this morning and picked up two jumpers for the children for winter. I did manage to find similar style dungarees at Mini Bugs Boutique made by Joules if you want to have a look.
I hope you enjoyed this post and see you next week!
