The last weekend of September we took Sophia and Archie to Bedgebury so we could take them on the Gruffalo’s Trail. It was the most wonderful day, I got some great footage. We meet all the characters from the book, and ventured out into the woods looking for all of them ticking them off as we went. Sophia absolutely loved it. She enjoyed herself so much. A really great memory made.
At each character stop there were things to do, like stomp like the Gruffalo, or find things that smell like a pine cone. She really enjoyed the activities set out. The best part was trying to show daddy where the characters were because he kept pretending he couldn’t see them, she loved this.
It was so lovely to see Sophia’s excitement she ran around so much and both children were absolutely exhausted afterwards. They both fell asleep on the way home.
We all had a great day, thank you Bedgebury for being a great host for the Gruffalo. Great great idea for the whole family. We will definitely be visiting again.
Sophia enjoyed posing at all the character stops. She especially loves the fox.
We found an old tree stump, which was huge Archie also had a little play on it. We spent ages here. It was quite difficult to get the children to leave the tree stump!
We finished off our day at the play area. It is such a fantastic play area for the children. They always have so much fun when we come here. It caters to a lot of different age groups too so both Sophia and Archie can play happily on the equipment. Its lovely for them to go barefoot too, especially in the summer months.
