#SaveSyriasChildren | “It could have been me”

#savesyriaschildren

This campaign is something I feel really strongly about I want to help even if it’s just a little. I believe every little bit helps. We are all human at the end of the day and I love you as much as I love and care for myself and my family. Why should the better off stick up their noses and say: ‘well there is no space’ ‘we have our own homeless people’. Heartless and uneducated are the people who speak with such hate.

I am a firm believer that people in glass houses should never throw stones because you never know where you could potentially end up in life and as a woman with principles and values I believe and want to with all my heart help and give what I can. Even if that is just a donation sent with love, I want to give.

I think sometimes we can sit at home with this huge disaster far away from us and give up and think there is nothing little old me can do. But oh there is, we can all do something even something tiny to create something big and to make a difference.

I am forever grateful for meeting all the amazing women that I have met though blogging that have taken it upon themselves (on their birthday too) to give a little, to help, to support. To be human and show an empathy and common love that we all have inside of us. This world is big and things happen, and sometimes we need each other.

What if that was you or a family member close to you? What would you do? turn a blind eye?

If you feel compelled to want to help you can. You can join this campaign too by taking a photo of yourself or your children, writing it could have been us/me and uploading it in black and white on your social media accounts with the hash tag #savesyriaschildren along with the details to donate by texting SYRIA to 70008 to donate £5.

I send my love and prayers to those facing the war and for the ones that tragically lost their lives. I am human and I have compassion and love just like you I see the images and the news and my heart breaks. The only way to make a change in such a big world is to stand up TOGETHER. This campaign set up by my blogging friends has sky rocketed and is currently number two trending in the United Kingdom, we want this to get the publicity it needs to create an awareness so that everyone has a chance and a choice to make a stand and to help by donating £5.

My heart and my love goes out to the families in Syria trying to make a better life for their families. They deserve to feel safe, and loved just like me and you.
