Just this weekend we spent a night at the beautiful Spa Hotel. We have visited before and had the loveliest time so we were really looking forward to visiting again.
I think my most favourite thing to do with Daniel is to go to a Spa and be spoilt, to eat good food and relax and unwind together. What better place to spend your time then in a luxurious hotel which offers both a relaxed experience and has its own spa, along with sauna and gym. The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge wells offers everything from impeccable service, to beautiful rooms for you to relax in, a Spa and a fine dinning experience. It is the whole package, and especially for us it is so lovely to visit and escape everything for a weekend.
My lovely mum surprised us on Christmas day with a room and treatments at The Spa Hotel. Which was a very welcomed surprise. We both were so shocked when she gave us our gift and very thankful too. As it is not something we would have treated ourselves to at the moment. So it really was lovely of her and so nice of her to think of us too.
We arrived late afternoon and we went straight to our room. Our room was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in room 301 and we loved it. The decor was beautiful it had such a nice feel to the room.
It also had a lounge/ seating area with a television. Daniel definitely enjoyed lounging on the Chesterfield sofa. I loved the touches to the room, the reindeer cushions and ornaments and the fur covers on the Sofa’s.
There was tea and coffee and water in the room for us, which was displayed beautifully on a chest.
The bed was huge and very comfortable. We both had a lovely nights sleep. There was also a velux window right above the bed (which had a blind), so you were free to have it open or closed. Although we didn’t, it would have been lovely to look at the stars.
The bathroom was lovely it had a nice sized bath and an arm chair.
I was even able to do my make up at the lovely dressing table. The lights were my favourite!
We had reserved a table for dinner in The Chandelier Restaurant prior to our arrival, it is so beautiful in there and the staff are impeccable and so accommodating in every way. They truly do make you feel like a valued customer.
As soon as we sat at our table we were poured water and offered bread. The waitresses and waiters were very attentive to us and we didn’t once have to ask for anything. More bread was brought to us before we even had a thought to ask. Our main waiter was George and he was both attentive, professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend our family and friends to dine at The Chandelier Restaurant as we enjoyed it so much, it welcomes both hotel guests and non hotel guests.
The spa hotel have some lovely offers on over January. The Spa Hotel have just finished the refurbishment of the pool, sauna and steam room, and have also just upgraded all of the gym equipment to top of the range Precor equipment, so it’s a lovely time to visit.
The Spa Hotel are also holding Bottomless Brunches every month which are proving popular (unlimited brunch food and prosecco/bloody Mary’s for 2 hours for £40).
The Spa Hotel have 25% off afternoon tea at the moment and the perfect pair offer is back, you can book two treatments for £50. If you click on the links you can have a look at the terms and conditions.
We would like to say a huge thank you to The Spa Hotel for having us again, we have had another lovely stay and can’t wait to come back for another visit.
