{The Ordinary Moments 15} #6 Snow Day

snow day6 Sophia was so very excited when we woke up on Tuesday morning to find the remnants of snow, and for a little more snow to be falling. It wasn’t much, and not like the deep snow you loose your welly in, but when we looked out the window it was bright and the grass and rooftops were full of a soft white coating. So that was good enough for us. Sophia made some mini snow balls on the walk to preschool and Archie tried to copy her picking up the cold snow and squeezing it in his chubby little hands.

Sophia was so excited she was telling me this means it’s Christmas. She kept cuddling her brother and telling him all about the snow and that it is very cold. It was lovely to watch as the two of them stomped along.

Even though the snow was quickly melting away both enjoyed it so much, we had lots to talk about on our way to preschool and this definitely was a lovely moment. Very pleased I captured it. Our first bit of snow this winter, even if it wasn’t a lot!
