We are involved in a new campaign that Marks and Spencer are running, and were given the opportunity to test out the Marks and Spencer sports kit. What better way to do this then to host our very own sports day at home. So thats what we did. We all had so much fun with it too. A great way to get the children outdoors this summer holiday too.
The weather has been so lovely the last few days, which makes a change, because I was beginning to think that summer was over for good. I really do love summer, don’t you?
The children have been taking great advantage of the lovely big garden we have. I think sometimes even with a garden us mums can run out of ideas and things to do with the children at home. I have to say I am really enjoying the time off with both my children, and especially because Sophia goes to school in September it makes this particular summer holiday extra special for me.
I am sitting here now on my laptop enjoying the beautiful view of my garden, the sun is so bright and it is a very warm day indeed. Perfect weather in fact. I love the heat so much. I find it so enjoyable I feel I thrive in the summer with everything, if that is even possible.
So here I am enjoying the lovely weather and definitely excited for more too, while I look at the photos from the sports day I hosted for the children.
It was our very own sports day, which we did in the comfort of our back garden. I made them an obstacle course and and we did lots of running around. There was a lot of laughing and giggling throughout the whole activity.
We were lucky enough to receive the sports outfits from Marks and Spencer as part of a school uniform campaign they are running, which I am so excited about especially because Marks and Spencer is an exceptional brand, and their clothing is of great quality.
The children loved the sports kit, and I particularly loved the shorts. The shorts are stretchy and are well fitted, giving the children lots of room to move around in and run. Archie loved his plimsolls especially because Sophia had the same ones. There is something so sweet about younger siblings wanting to be just like their older siblings.
It is always heartwarming to watch your children run around and enjoy life. To see their little faces beaming and the glimmer of happiness in their eyes is beautiful to say the least. The sports day was a great idea and an activity that is so quick to set up we can do it almost anytime. The Marks and Spencer sports kit added the fun to it for the children. Archie was super proud of his little shorts and plimsolls just like his big sister, and Sophia really did enjoy testing them out before big school.
We all had a great time, what a great campaign to get summer started and sophia ready for school in September. Thank you Marks and Spencer we loved being a part of this campaign.
