{ John High Opticians } Faversham Practice Review

John high Opticians

I was recently invited to the John High Opticians in Faversham for an eye test. This particular practice has been open for over 40 years and recently underwent a refurbishment in April 2015. It is located on Market street in Faversham town centre and is easy to find. On arrival I was greeted by the lovely receptionist, Sue, who has worked in this particular store for nearly 5 years now. She made me feel very welcome and advised me to take a seat while I waited for the optometrist.

My first impressions of the store was that it was bright and inviting. I love the way the glasses have been displayed on modern shelving along with lighting. The store itself is very clean and kept to a high standard. There is nothing better than being in an environment you are made to feel well looked after.

The expert examination was done by Roger, he made sure I felt comfortable and answered any questions I had. He went ahead and performed a thorough test on my eyes, which was tailored to my needs. As I hadn’t been to the opticians for many years he made sure he left nothing unturned. I felt comfortable and at ease in his company, at the same time he was very professional and accommodating to my needs as well. Throughout the examination Roger explained what he was doing, and the results he had found. I was pleased at the end of the test to know that I wouldn’t need glasses and that I had good vision.

After the examination I met Sarah, a skilled Dispensing Optician. As I didn’t need prescription glasses I opted for a pair of sunglasses. Sarah who has worked in the Faversham store for ten years now was lovely and as soon as I met her I knew she would help me pick the perfect pair of sunglasses. She asked me a series of questions including the shape of glasses I prefer so that she could find me the best match. She was very knowledgeable and advised me of the particular specifications of each pair of sunglasses that I tried on. It is always lovely to have someone who really cares about the customer, Sarah provided me with great customer service and I trusted her decisions and expertise.
