Five Of My Feel Good Make-Up Products

MAKE UP PRODUCTS

I thought I would do a beauty post today. One that I haven’t done on my blog before actually but one that I hope you will like.

Growing up make- up was a huge love of mine.  I used to do dance and loved experimenting with my make up. And so the love grew. I love how it can enhance your features and boost your confidence. Sometimes I don’t wear make up and sometimes I wear a lot, but most of all I just enjoy it which is why I wanted to share with you five of my feel good make up products. Products that I usually use everyday at the moment, some are drugstore and really affordable and others are high end.

I am actually wearing all of the products listed below in these pictures, the lipstick is my favourite.

  1. Rimmel London Lasting finish Foundation in True Ivory

Rimmel is my favourite drugstore foundation and one I always go to no matter what. I love the coverage. You can use as little or as much as you want to get the desired look. I love how it covers my blemishes and gives me a flawless look.

2. Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette

I am wearing Naked and Half Baked here. I have to say I don’t always use my Naked palette but just recently started to use it more. I am more of a fan of matte eyeshadows as oppose to metallic ones. But I really like how my eyes turned out here. I am a fan of neutral tones and think these look best on me. Natural tones are also great for an everyday look and a night time look too.

3. Clinique high Impact mascara

I adore this mascara and have used it for the past four years without changing brand! I am a creature of habit and when I find something I love I just keep buying it. I hate to buy a mascare and when you bring it home to use it is not good at all. If I find a product I love then thats what I stick to.

4. Rimmel Sculpting palette by Kate

I use this Blush, bronzer and highlighting Palette all the time at the moment. It is actually the second one I have purchased. I love the tones and think it looks lovely on my skin both when it is pale and a when I have a light tan. It is also a really great price and Rimmel often have 3 for 2 in store.

5. Mac Japanese Maple lipstick and Loreal Rosewood Lipliner.

I know these are two products but in my opinion you can’t use one without the other. I absolutely love lip liners and I love how they enhance my natural lip shape. Japanese maple is one of my favourite lipstick tones. Again I adore neutral tones on my lips, even soft browns. I am slowly building up a lovely collection but I still always go for my favourites, I just cant help myself.

I’m really interested in this. I’m terrible at makeup, but the problem I have is that I don’t like to use anything that isn’t cruelty free. So I avoid things containing palm oil, palm oil derivatives and things that are or have been tested on animals. I’m always really interested in the looks that people create and finding out different brands though. I like the idea of trying to replicate them with the makeup I use and also checking out the brands for their ethical credentials. Your makeup looks amazing and so natural, I’d love to be able to do makeup like that.

Aw you are so lovely nat. I know charlotte tilbury make up is cruelty free and it is fantastic. My husband recently brought me a Charlotte tilbury lipstick and I really like it a lot. It’s actually really easy to do a simple make up look with little effort and time. I think the trick is just learning what suits your face. Xx
