  1. Reading, I love getting lost in a book, and I love knowing that someone wrote it for me to read.

  1. Writing, almost everyday I write something not always publishing what I write but still the activity and the doing makes me happy.
  1. Feeling the sun on my face
  1. Feeling the wind in my hair
  1. Feeling soft sand between my toes
  1. Memories of my childhood
  1. Spending everyday with my children
  1. My husband, having someone there who loves me for me is something very special.
  1. Long walks
  1. Lying in bed at night and thinking
  1. Dreaming
  1. Meditating
  1. Hanging my washing on the line in summer
  1. The smell of fresh washing from the line
  1. Eating good food
  1. Long baths
  1. Days out as a family
  1. Watching the sun rise and set
  1. The sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the sand
  1. Hearing the birds tweet on an early summer morning
  1. Studying and learning new things
  1. Intellectual conversations
  1. Thought provoking people
  1. Inspiring interior designs
  1. Blogging
  1. The blogging community
  1. Reading other blogs
  1. Enjoying a cup of rooibos tea on a cold morning
  1. Snuggling on the sofa to watch some trashy telly like Take Me Out or Towie and although not trashy I am loving Ordinary Lies at the moment.
  1. Beach Holidays
  1. Getting thousands of kisses from Archie (he is at that age where he always wants to kiss me)
  1. Enjoying my husbands company
  1. Running – only in the summer – I’m not a fan of running in the cold
  1. Setting goals
  1. Achieving goals
  1. Watching my children love life
  1. Listening to music
  1. Cleaning my house
  1. Enjoying our garden
  1. Decorating our home
  1. Making the most of the long summer days
  1. Making the most of the great outdoors
  1. Feeling relaxed
  1. Enjoying the peace and quiet of nature (I’m doing this now as I write this list)
  1. Appreciating the day for what it is
  1. Looking forward to tomorrow
  1. Feeling the grass under my feet
  1. Cooking dinner for my family
  1. Having a car to get us around
  1. My day to day life with my children and my husband

    Love your list! Your running in the summer one made me laugh a little. Here in Texas, summers are too hot and winters are perfect running weather!
