From the moment you were conceived I loved you. I carried you inside of me where you were safe, warm, nourished, and loved abundantly. You did not want for anything. All your needs met by the strong placenta in which you grew.
Dear child of mine as you grew in strength inside of me how I dreamt of the day I would be able to hold you in my arms.
From the moment I first held your soft delicate body I was overwhelmed with unconditional pure and sacred love. To hold the child I grew inside of me after waiting nearly 10 months to meet you is the most overwhelming feeling in life.
When you were born and placed so lovingly and gently into my arms, I heard your soft cry, and touched your sweet face. I smelt your sweet smell, and saw your sweet eyes looking back at me. All the while knowing I never wanted to let you go. Finally you could put a face to the voice you had been hearing for the last 10 months.
Today you are 14 months old and still I carry you. Still I get to see your sweet face, smell your sweet smell and hear you sweet voice. I even get to kiss you sweet head as we walk. Sweet child of mine, I will always hold you close, all the days of your life, keep you safe and strengthen your feelings of security and love.
I will always let you know all the days of your life that I am here for you. When you are scared, nervous or hurt, I will be there to pick you up and carry you in my arms.
Before you were born my womb was your home, a place of protection, and now that you are here all I have to do is put my arms around you, place your head to my chest and you are home, when I hold you close you are protected, you are unconditionally loved.
Know that the very reason my heart beats is for you. As the deep beats of my heart made you feel safe inside me, I hope that they continue to give you the same sense of security you so desire in life.
Carrying you for the last 14 months has only strengthened our bond. I know how to sooth you from pain, sadness and fevers. I also know how to make you happy, feel content and loved. So I will continue to carry you and reaffirm these good feelings you need, to help you grow and develop. Because carrying you and keeping you close, keeps you safe from harms way.
Dear child of mine even when you are grown and no longer need to be carried I will always have my arms open ready and waiting for a loving cuddle to remind you how much you are loved and how safe you really are.
I will always carry you as from the moment you were conceived you had my heart. My arms would hold you while you were snuggled up inside and they will hold you now and always while you figure out how to spread your wings and and learn to fly.
